朝長松寺の本堂でお看経をさせていただき伏見・妙福寺へ行かせていただきました。昨夜は長松寺で野崎博子さんと淳慧師再会、ゆっきりのお話ができました。大変嬉しい再会でした。本日は妙福寺の先住権僧正松峰院日延上人の御3回忌に合わせて報恩口唱会が奉修されました。日延上人、松本お導師は宗門海外部長としてスリランカのご奉公を支えてくださった方で個人的にも大変お世話になり御礼報恩の思いを持って口唱会に参詣させていただきました。口唱会の後に佛立アンバサダー激励をさせていただきました。また、日延上人の納骨式にもお参詣でき本当にありがたい限りでございます。久々に松本現薫御住職とも話しができ、妙福寺の皆様と再会し貴重なお時間いただきました。出発前に現在妙福寺でお預かりされているスリランカへ持ち帰り出来るお下がりのお道具やお戒壇の確認もさせていただきました。関税と船便の条件等確認しスリランカへ持って行けたら絶対にスリランカのご信者さんは喜ぶ程の立派なお戒壇やお道具でありました。

京都から次は名古屋に寄り、建国寺へお参りさせていただきました。元々の予定にはなかったけれども自分でリクエストし石川日翠上人の御霊前に報恩参詣をさせていただきました。16年前に私の父親は建国寺で石川お導師と初めてお出会い以来にお導師と建国寺の大事なご縁をいただいて参りました。本日は石川御住職にもご挨拶させていただき今後ともスリランカと建国寺のご縁を大切に深めて行きたいと思っております。

Today morning I chanted at the Choshinji temple before leaving to Myofukuji Temple in Fushimi. Last night at Choshoji temple, I was so glad to meet Mrs. Hiroko Nozaki & Rev. Jun-e after years. Today was the 3rd commemoration of Matsumoto Odoshi who was the previous head priest of Myofukuji. A Special chanting session in gratitude of Matsumoto Odoshi has been organised at Myofukuji. Matsumoto odoshi has been a great patron of Sri Lanka HBS as a former head of International propagations division in HBS. Further he has been kind and helpful to me all these years. I participated in the chanting session with that gratitude towards the late Matsumoto Odoshi. After the chanting session I delivered a HBS Ambassador session. Afterwards I participated in the placing the Ashes of Matsumoto Odoshi in the family altar. It was a great pleasure to me been able to express my gratitude to Odoshi’s service on his commemoration day. It was my pleasure to discuss with Rev. Matsumoto Genkun, present head priest of Myofukuji & to meet members of Myofukuji. I also checked some Okaidan and altar ornaments collected at Myofukuji that could be sent to Sri Lanka. HBS Followers in Sri Lanka shall be happy to receive such precious items. We shall further check the possibility of sending them via sea freight.

From Kyoto I turned to Nagoya and visited Kenkokuji temple to offer a gratitude prayer at the altar of Ishikwa odoshi who passed away quite recently. Ishikawa Odoshi also has been a great patron of Sri Lanka HBS ever since he and my father met each other at Kenkokuji nearly 16 years ago. I talked to Rev. Ishikawa Seiyu the current head priest there and thought we must make this bond important and deeper between Kenkokuji and Sri Lanka.
