大和・法深寺で佛立アンバサダーご奉公を無事に終え、只今はまた新幹線乗って神戸へ向かっております。法深寺で朝参詣に参列、そして9時から門祖報恩お総講にて清水お導師の御法門の後に佛立アンバサダー激励をさせていただきました。激励前にお導師よりスリランカとスリランカを含めて南伝仏教史についてご丁寧に説明をくださいました。またスリランカの支援活動に御有志を法深寺の教講にいただきました。

私は法深寺に初めてお参りしてから凡そ13年間経ち今までそのご縁を深めて参りました。今法深寺所属、去年まで妙深寺にいらっしゃった清水清康師とご家族に妙深寺に入寺以来大変お世話になり、日本のみならず一緒にインドやネパールまでもご奉公をさせていただいております。またまだ新婚生活を過ごす法深寺の清水法光師の奥さんは私の結婚式にオチョメチョをしてくださったカナさんで、ご縁のある方々に再会に随喜感動しております。またアンバサダーご奉公終了後に法深寺のアリミツ様ご夫婦ともゆっくりスリランカ御弘通について等さらにお話しできました。

Arigato gozaimsu!

HBS Ambassador programme at Hoshinji Temple in Yamato was successfully completed and I am on my way once again to Kobe by the bullet train. Today I participated in the Morning service of Hoshinji temple and conducted HBS Ambassador sermon at the Nichiryu Shonin commemorative Oko gathering from 9 o’clock onwards. To my pleasure Shimizu Odoshi introduced Sri Lanka and further explained about the Buddhist background & history of Sri Lanka in his sermon very gently before my sermon. After the session I collected donations from laity & priests of Hoshinji donated to support the Relief-Aid programme in Sri Lanka.

It has been 13 years since I first visited Hoshinji and that bond has been getting deeper ever since. Rev. Shimizu Seiko and his family who moved to Hoshinji this year was at the Myoshinji temple earlier. They helped me ever since I joined Myoshinji temple and stayed there for my higher education. What I was most surprised at this time is, Rev. Shimizu Hoko who married recently is married to the lady who performed the traditional “Ocho-mecho” duty at my wedding at the HBS Head temple in Kyoto several years ago. Its a great pleasure to meet again those who share a great bond with us. After the session I was able to discuss Sri Lanka’s propagation with Mr. & Mrs. Arimitsu, members of Hoshinji.
