The OESHIKI is the Buddhist Memorial Service held on Oct.
13th for Nichiren Shonin, who is the reincarnateion of Premodial Buddha and he was the disciple of Shakamuni Buddha. We have three important bodisatovas, Nichiren Shonin, Nichiryu Shonin, and Nissen Shonin those who taught us the right practice based on Lotus Sutra. The belief we have today, is given by Primordial Buddha inherited to Nichiren Shonin lived in Kamakura era, and to Nichiryu Shonin in Muromachi era, and to Nissen Shoninin in Edo era.
We are holding thier OESHIKIs on the anniversaries of their deaths for returning their favors like the children being filial to their parents. For Nichiren Shonin on Oct.
13th, for Nichiryu Shonin on Feb.25th, and for Nissen Shonin on July 17th. All the followers participate the temple and celebrate the OESHIKI on a large scale.
